About
About this site
A technical reading site, run inside the Kora Coconut family.
Who is behind the primer
Coco Sheet Primer is published by PT Kora Prima Abadi in Bogor, Indonesia, the company behind the Kora Coconut family. Kora is developing a coconut-derived sheet material, so the site is not neutral about the subject. It tries to be fair about the method.
The Kora sales team reads every request sent from these pages.
Who it is written for
The pages are for R&D, sourcing and product teams who assess leather-alternative sheets from coconut streams. Start with the primer to place a material in its family. Then take the supplier questions and the test methods to any sheet maker, Kora included. Market terms explains the words used on datasheets.
For a shorter route, the articles material families compared by question and datasheet phrases and the number behind each cover the same ground in plain language.
What Kora has and has not published
Kora’s product page lists the form, the applications and that a technical data sheet is available on request. It gives no test data: no thickness, tensile strength, flex or abrasion figures. The Kora status page shows this row by row, and the sheet status ledger keeps the same record as a table.
No page here claims that Kora sheets pass any test or match any other material.
How figures and names are used
Numbers about other materials come from supplier pages and search results read on 2026-10-20, and each shows its status. Other suppliers are cited as sources. Their trade names belong to them, and a citation is not an endorsement. Where nothing is published, the answer is ask sales.
