Test methods
Test methods, and how sure we are
Numbers compare only when method, conditioning and direction match. This list names the methods we met and their status.

Comparing fairly
- Same method and edition on both sides.
- Same conditioning (temperature and humidity) before testing.
- Same direction: length and width can differ.
- Number of specimens, plus mean and spread, not a single best value.
- Named lab and test date.
Datasheet skeleton
A datasheet worth keeping has these fields for each property: value, unit, method and edition, specimen count, lab, date, lot. If a supplier sends numbers without them, ask for them before using the numbers.
